This week:
Finding Flow on Everest
Here at Flogo - as the name suggests - we are curious about the flow state.
The beautiful thing about flow is it’s accessible to everyone. Whether you’re physically active or not, you can explore and play, and find your flow.
What is the flow state? One explanation we like is Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi’s ‘Optimal Experience Theory’. This says that you are in flow state when you are fully engaged in what you are doing, and the task matches your skill level. The task also has clear goals, and gives immediate feedback.
Flow is achieved when there is a beautiful balance between your skill level and the level of challenge presented by the task. This means that by challenging yourself, and pushing yourself just a little further out of your current comfort zone, you can achieve flow in your chosen task.
Flogo friend, Giles Moffatt, and a group of intrepid explorers, went to the highest mountain in the world in search of flow.
Hear about their trip to Everest and how they found flow in our first FLOW MASTERCLASS. Watch this first episode of Flogo TV on YouTube by clicking here, And check out that sunset!

We Love
Here’s some things the Flogo team are loving this week:
- Tom is keeping it simple this week while he prepares our second store in the Brighton Lanes. This week Tom is loving cold showers, Thai food, and steak.
- Charlie is loving the stunning Northern Lights over East Sussex, and Friday sunshine. Charlie is also loving her morning meditations
- Rosalind is loving the magical skies this week. After a few recommendations she is finally reading The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, and is loving that so far.
